My double room had an electric kettle, central heating, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Location: the hotel was close enough to the centre of Heimbach, the pubs and many restaurants and the beautiful Burg Hengebach.

The welcome was warm and friendly, and the staff were helpful. the breakfast was tasty and filling, with a good variety of options. the garden was a beautiful and peaceful place to relax.
The location was a bit remote and difficult to find without GPS. the bathroom sink didn't have enough space for toiletries.

the place was immaculately clean and well, maintained. the family members who welcomed us were incredibly sweet and helpful throughout our stay. They even recommended an excellent nearby restaurant that we thoroughly enjoyed. the rooms at the back of the house provided a quiet and peaceful atmosphere with lovely views of the backyard and garden. the shower was one of the best I experienced on my trip, fully enclosed and equipped with nice toiletries. the little light on the bedside table was adorable, with a three, way bulb and a tap for adjusting the lighting levels. the Wi, Fi was fast and free, and there were a few English channels on the television for news updates. the complimentary breakfast was simply marvelous, and we were pleasantly surprised when the host offered to provide all the necessary items for making packed lunches, including bags to carry them in. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😞.

The owner was incredibly friendly, allowing us to check in early and providing warm water with a water cooker and green tea. The breakfast was luxurious and we were offered bags to take lunch, fruits, and desserts. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!
Felt snug, no complaints.

The place was spotlessly clean, well taken care of, and the breakfast was marvelous. Both family members whom we met were very sweet and very helpful. They gave us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant that was wonderful. Parking is free in their small lot adjacent to the home. Most of the rooms are at the back of the house, which was very quiet and had delightful views over the backyard and garden. The shower was fully enclosed and one of the best showers of the trip. They had nice little products to use in the shower. The cute light on one side of the bed had a three-way bulb and you could just tap on the outside of the lamp to go to each level of lighting. It was extremely cute. The Wi-Fi was fast and free. The television had a couple English channels that were mostly news from England.
Felt it like being home, nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and I loved that I could pack some rolls for a quick lunch later. The host was so welcoming and made me feel right at home. The view from my balcony was stunning - I even got to see a red squirrel and a woodpecker each morning! The hotel is surrounded by beautiful walking paths, and there's even a nearby swimming pool that I wish I could have used. it was a delightful stay.
Totally recommend this hotel.
